Only for myself
written for

Get frisky with those bubbles,
When I blow, bounce and
Kick out my work muddle,
Slipping out of daily chores,
Sliding into foamy soap,
Singing like the wild free bird,
Stop all the clocks of this world.

Anything for you

Sometimes we never know,
Realization is far later,
Plunge deeply through tribulations
Sail as far as we can go.
Boundary is unforeseen,
Stress not a matter, strain concealed
Time is another stuff we don’t bother
Aim to touch silver lining of cloud.
  Except breathing
Not anything done for ourselves
A moment of triumph experienced
When goal we reach
It happens when our dear one is strangled
To shoulder upon us we beseech.

Created by a person with heart full of desires, and reality full of pitfalls

Submitted for Goosberry garden's
POETRY PICNIC WK 5
Stop!  And think… about me

How can I create harmony?
Huh! I belong to status ‘no money’,
I spit out anger, after nails I bite
Am I just a snake skin surrounded by bytes?

I grumble, make resolutions I shout ‘I can!’
Shh…I hear voices say, ‘you’re an empty can.
Filled with shame, fear and guilt,
Harshly put, ‘Am I gold or guilt?’

Have bucks aplenty and a pretty miss?
Then get noticed, no one will miss.
But…Sarcastic faces act heartless
Not a soul will smile at you, if jobless.

This is my submission to Gooseberry Poetry Picnic WK-2 - THE KISS and my small tribute to my 'all loved' granny who is no more dwells with us on earth.

My last kiss

My nerves went dead
Eyes more than sore
Lips went pale than never before
Feeling of chillness spread,
Like snake with entire skin shed.
I went down my knees,
Squeezing my brow
 I yelled so much,
That I invited sore throat, knowingly
No one on earth could pacify me,
 Or get my plight ceased
Never will I forget
That afflicted situation, even now,
Wished it were a dream
I had feared this earlier, much earlier,
My vanity vanished into the air,
Much boasted, ceaseless smile
Smashed into pieces,
Massively grown optimism,
Over and out,
A black day stamped my heart,
When I had to sadly part
With a kiss on her forehead and depart
My granny,
She’s my evergreen sweet heart
 A Story of every soul,
That outsmarts the mortals of the earth.

Matters that nibbles around the darker land of our hearts

The fuel of appreciation
Do we fight and suppress emotions
To prove ourselves with ‘balanced’ mind?
Ruthlessly push others out of the race
To bring ourselves forward,
Without sagacity
Leave others behind?
Hideously crack out a smile to people
Whom we know rather less,
Speculating a favor later on,
The reason we ought to impress!
Renew our diet woes almost every day
Like a pet waiting for a pat someway,
Dress with utmost care, with
Accessories dress and perfume
When we bear the badge of elegance
Awarded by peers, our joy exhumes
All this together astoundingly exhibits
A bird inside every soul,
Ready to peck a speck
Of a grain- called appreciation.

When I write...

This poem was written for Bluebell books based on the image prompt given below.

A  Divine charisma

Each instant I pen a font
I feel consigned in a mysterious bind

That lifts me up effortlessly and blind
A softest sense of gratification,
Leaves my body behind.

The moment my words glide and set fine,
I smell myself foraying end to end
Through barrels of cheery wine,
Or fancy my soul sway like grains unrefined,
Noisily crushing my earthly presence,
 Thoroughly makes me feel divine.

When I recount this weird air
That surrounds me each time, I sense
A quirkily numbness,
Aloft multiple altitude of desires.
To this, I willingly submit my thoughts to.

A family's outing to the zoo.

This was the prompt given by Bluebell books for the Short Story Slam Week 7. We were encouraged to use 4 or more words from this pool. I had a good recollection of our old zoo trip with the kids. Thank you Bluebell!
A Picture taken during our zoo trip!
A happy trip to the zoo
This is a story of our trip to the zoo,
Together as a huge family, little ones too
Preparations to get there was exciting to do,
With sandwiches, juices and direction clues

We filled our baskets with bananas few,
For children to feed the monkeys in queue,
Not inside the zoo, ‘cause we’ll be sued, but
Only when monkeys head our van,
purplish blue.

We also filled some coconuts old and new,
There’s rule, we can feed elephants if we want to,
The mahout handed it for the giants to chew,
Highlight of all was an elephant safari,
Come & join, would you?
